Iliman Ndiaye, hot target for Arsenal and Chelsea?

London’s biggest clubs are circling Goodison Park. Everton’s 25-year-old Senegalese winger Iliman Ndiaye has emerged as a prime summer target for both Arsenal and Chelsea after a breakthrough half-season in the Premier League, sources confirmed.

Ndiaye, signed from Olympique de Marseille in July 2024, has wasted no time adapting to English football, registering four goals and two assists in 19 league appearances for Sean Dyche’s side. That productivity, coupled with a fearless dribbling style, has put the Paris-born attacker on the shortlists of the league’s elite.

Arsenal view Ndiaye as a potential upgrade on the flanks as they look to sustain a title push, while Chelsea, flush with fresh capital from recent sales, regard him as a versatile forward who can operate across the front line. The Blues’ recruitment team have tracked the player since his Marseille days and are now stepping up background checks ahead of a possible bid.

Competition will be fierce. Tottenham, Manchester United, Liverpool and Manchester City are also monitoring Ndiaye’s development, with scouts filing glowing reports on his direct running and willingness to press without the ball.

Everton, however, are under no pressure to sell. The Merseysiders slapped a €65–75 million valuation on the winger, who is contracted until 2029, and privately insist they will not entertain offers unless the figure is met in full. After losing key players in recent windows, the club is determined to retain its emerging star and build the attack around him.

For Senegal, Ndiaye has already earned 38 caps and scored four goals, adding international pedigree to his burgeoning résumé. With the Africa Cup of Nations on the horizon, a strong tournament could further inflate his market value and intensify the looming transfer battle.
