Real Madrid will listen to offers over €50m for midfielder

Madrid – Real Madrid have placed a €50 million price tag on Eduardo Camavinga and are prepared to field bids for the 23-year-old Frenchman this summer, RadioMarca reports, signalling a dramatic shift in the club’s stance after four and a half seasons at the Bernabéu.
Signed from Stade Rennes for €31 million in 2020, Camavinga has never fully convinced the coaching staff that he can anchor the midfield on a weekly basis. Despite flashes of brilliance, consistency has eluded him; he has admitted as much in recent interviews and has been rotated in and out of the side since his sophomore campaign. With only 1,685 minutes across 31 appearances this season, the player’s inability to string together uninterrupted runs has become a growing concern.
Although Camavinga’s contract runs until 2029, sources close to the club say he is no longer classified as “non-transferable.” Real Madrid’s hierarchy will green-light a departure if an offer of at least €50 million materialises, a figure that would immediately be reinvested in a midfield refresh. Names already circulating around the Spanish capital include Manchester City’s Rodri Hernández and PSV Eindhoven’s emerging Dutchman Kees Smit.
Enquiries have already landed on the club’s desk. Liverpool explored a January swoop but never tabled a formal bid, while Saudi Pro League side Al-Ittihad have made their interest known. Camavinga, however, has not pushed for an exit and is said to be focused on forcing his way back into favour.
Yet the clock is ticking. Madrid chiefs want clarity before pre-season, and with a new midfield signing atop the summer agenda, Camavinga could find himself the makings of a high-profile departure rather than the cornerstone of a new era.
