Premier League clubs eye €50m move for Camavinga

Real Madrid have placed a €50 million price tag on Eduardo Camavinga and will entertain offers for the 23-year-old this summer, with Liverpool, Manchester United and Manchester City all monitoring the France international’s situation.

Camavinga arrived at the Bernabéu in 2021 after a breakthrough season at Rennes and has since collected a remarkable haul of silverware: two La Liga titles, two Champions Leagues, two Copas del Rey, two Spanish Super Cups, two UEFA Super Cups and two FIFA Club World Cups. While his trophy cabinet overflows, his personal development has plateaued; frequent deployments at left-back and on the right wing have obscured the central-midfield role he covets.

Los Blancos remain convinced the player can still mature into the elite holding midfielder they projected, yet they are prepared to cash in if a bid exceeds the €50 million threshold. Premier League interest is intensifying. Liverpool view Camavinga as a solution to a fragile midfield that currently relies on Ryan Gravenberch in the No. 6 role, a position the Dutchman is ill-suited to occupy. Acquiring the Frenchman would free Gravenberch to advance into his preferred attacking slot.

Manchester United, bracing for the free-transfer exit of Casemiro, have identified Camavinga as a ready-made successor to anchor their engine room. Manchester City, meanwhile, are conscious that Rodri has yet to rediscover his pre-injury authority and could enter the race to add youthful depth behind the Spaniard.

With Madrid open to negotiations, a three-way Premier League battle for Camavinga’s signature appears inevitable once the summer window opens.
