Robertson and Salah inspire Liverpool to 3-1 win over Wolves and FA Cup quarterfinal berth

Wolverhampton, England – Liverpool answered Tuesday’s Premier League disappointment in emphatic fashion, advancing to the FA Cup quarterfinals with a 3-1 victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers at Molineux.

“That was a bit more like it,” Robertson told the BBC. “We know we let ourselves down on Tuesday … it was up to us to go and put it right. The FA Cup is do or die.”

Liverpool now await the completion of this weekend’s ties to learn their last-eight opponent, with quarterfinal action scheduled for the first weekend in April.

“We are trying to fight on all fronts,” Robertson added. “If we play like we did tonight, then nobody wants to play against us. We have to start showing that consistency.”
