Papers: Palmer disillusioned at Chelsea amid Man Utd interest

Chelsea’s headline act Cole Palmer is reportedly growing disenchanted with life at Stamford Bridge and is open to a summer exit, according to The Sun on Sunday. The 21-year-old England international, valued at around £150 million, has emerged as a prime target for Manchester United, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich after a breakthrough season in west London.

Palmer’s frustration is said to have intensified amid ongoing uncertainty surrounding the club’s direction, with the forward now actively considering his options ahead of the transfer window. United’s interest is understood to be particularly advanced, although the European giants are also monitoring developments closely.

Chelsea, meanwhile, could find themselves in a domestic tug-of-war for Switzerland Under-21 captain Roggerio Nyakossi, with Liverpool also credited with an interest in the highly rated defender.
