‘He’d be perfect’ – Robert Lewandowski urged to leave Barcelona for Juventus

Douglas Costa has thrown his weight behind the idea of Robert Lewandowski swapping Barcelona for Juventus this summer, insisting the Poland captain would be “perfect” for the Serie A giants. Speaking exclusively to Tuttosport, the Brazilian winger—who shared a dressing room with Lewandowski at Bayern Munich—urged the 37-year-old to seize the opportunity once his Camp Nou deal expires.
“Lewandowski scores goals in every way imaginable,” Costa said. “He’d be a great asset at Juve; I’d advise him to wear the black-and-white shirt for as long as he can. He’s a player who scores everywhere and will continue to do so for many years to come. He’d be perfect for the Bianconeri, but they already have a great player up front.”
Juventus are among a clutch of clubs monitoring Lewandowski’s situation, with the striker yet to commit to the one-year extension Barcelona have tabled at a significantly reduced salary. While the veteran forward is believed to favour remaining in Catalonia, no final call is expected until the closing stages of the current campaign.
