Evans, Boozer Help No. 1 Duke Rout No. 11 Virginia 77-51, Secure ACC Tournament Top Seed

DURHAM, N.C. — Behind balanced scoring from Cooper Evans and Cameron Boozer, top-ranked Duke dominated 11th-ranked Virginia 77-51 on Saturday, locking up the No. 1 seed in the upcoming ACC Tournament.

The Blue Devils controlled the contest from the opening tip, using a stifling defensive effort and efficient offense to pull away from the Cavaliers. Evans and Boozer spearheaded the attack, combining for a significant share of Duke’s points while setting the tone on both ends of the floor.
