Bruno Guimeraes’ agent reacts amid ongoing Man United links and Newcastle contract uncertainty

Bruno Guimeraes’ future at Newcastle United has been plunged into fresh doubt after his representative, Alexis Malavolta, broke his silence on the swirling speculation linking the midfielder with a summer move to Manchester United.

Malavolta posted a single question mark on X/Twitter late last night, a cryptic gesture that has fuelled talk of an impending blockbuster transfer window for the 28-year-old, whose existing deal on Tyneside runs until 2028.

United are actively pursuing reinforcements in the middle of the park and view the Brazil international as a leading candidate to succeed Casemiro, with more than one midfield arrival expected at Old Trafford ahead of next season. Sources indicate that Casemero himself has recommended Guimeraes to INEOS chiefs, having played alongside him for the national team.
