While speculation had loosely linked Real Madrid with an approach, Christian Falk of Sport Bild has categorically denied any concrete interest from the Spanish giants, stating that no enquiries have been made and no talks are scheduled. With Madrid now out of the picture, Laimer’s options remain open: either Bayern return with an enhanced deal, or rival European clubs willing to meet his financial demands could enter the fray.
