‘You deserve to be 7-0 down!’ - Flick’s anger at Barca revealed

Madrid – Barcelona’s usually unflappable head coach, Hansi Fisch, delivered the most volatile speech of his tenure during the half-time break of Thursday’s Copa del Rey semi-final second leg at the Metropolitano, according to Sport.
Trailing 4-0 after a disjointed opening 45 minutes, the visitors were confronted by a manager who “was angrier than ever since he took over the Barça bench.”
The report says Flick’s frustration centred on the midfield, a zone he felt had surrendered control of the match. He had already removed midfielder Marc Casado before the interval and, once the dressing-room doors closed, the German coach did not temper his language.
“You deserve to be down 7-0!” he reportedly told his players, a verdict that echoed through a silent locker room.
Despite the public outburst, Flick maintained his composure when facing the media after the final whistle.
“We didn’t play well in the first half. We don’t play as a team. There was a lot of distance between everyone,” he said.
“We didn’t push as we wanted. The second of half was better and we have one more game, we will fight for it. We are capable of winning every half by two goals. We need our fans in the stadium.”
Barcelona now return to Camp Nou with a four-goal deficit to overturn in the return leg, a task that will require a dramatic reversal of form.
