A versatile midfielder comfortable in multiple roles, he has already sampled first-team football this campaign, debuting in the Copa del Rey versus Albacete before featuring off the bench against Celta Vigo in league play and against Manchester City in Europe.

Arbeloa’s desire to keep key engines such as Aurelien Tchouameni and Federico Valverde fresh for the midweek trip to the Etihad Stadium opens the door for the youngster to step into the XI.
