Borussia Dortmund’s 18-year-old forward Samuele Inácio has emerged as a summer transfer target for Paris Saint-Germain and FC Barcelona, according to Italian transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio.
Representatives from both European heavyweights were in the stands last month to watch the teenager feature for Italy’s U19 side in a 1-1 draw with Turkey, a fixture in which Inácio netted the Azzurrini’s lone goal. The performance reinforced the growing impression that the forward could be one of Europe’s next breakout talents.
Inácio, whose current contract with BVB runs until June 2027, made his Bundesliga debut in February during a dramatic 2-3 defeat to Bayern Munich. He followed that up with a 27-minute cameo in Dortmund’s 0-1 loss to Bayer Leverkusen at the weekend, offering a glimpse of the composure and directness that have caught the eye of scouts across the continent.
With two of the game’s superpowers now monitoring his progress, Dortmund are expected to accelerate talks over a fresh deal designed to reward Inácio’s rapid rise and safeguard his long-term future at Signal Iduna Park.
