Marcus Rashford and Raphinha both miss Barcelona training ahead of Copa del Rey clash with Atletico

Barcelona’s preparations for Thursday’s Copa del Rey semi-final showdown against Atlético Madrid have been disrupted after both Marcus Rashford and Raphinha sat out Wednesday’s training session at Ciutat Esportiva.
Raphinha, who has not yet returned to first-team drills after being diagnosed with an overload, conceded earlier this week that he is “better, but not 100%.” The Brazilian winger’s continued absence leaves his participation at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys in serious doubt.
Compounding Flick’s selection headache, Rashford was also absent from the session. The England forward, who has served as an effective deputy to Raphinha this term and has already reached double figures for goals and assists, now appears questionable for the pivotal tie.
With the duo potentially sidelined, the Barcelona boss will rely on the likes of Robert Lewandowski, Lamine Yamal and Ferran Torres to provide the attacking thrust. Midfielder Frenkie de Jong is back in contention after missing the weekend victory over Real Mallorca with a minor knock.
Flick is scheduled to face the media later today, where an update on Rashford’s availability is expected.
