Lyon predicted XI v Strasbourg: Endrick returns for Paulo Fonseca’s side

Olympique Lyonnais will be bolstered by the return of Real Madrid loanee Endrick when they travel to face RC Strasbourg Alsace on Sunday night. The forward missed last weekend’s 2-0 victory over OGC Nice after serving a one-match suspension following his red card against FC Nantes, but he is now available and expected to slot straight back into Paulo Fonseca’s starting line-up.
Joining Endrick in the comeback contingent are full-back Nicolás Tagliafico and winger-turned-defender Ruben Kluivert, with the latter tipped to start at left-back. The availability of Kluivert is timely, as Afonso Moreira remains sidelined with a minor injury and Hans Hateboer is also ruled out. Long-term absentees Ernest Nuamah and Malick Fofana continue their rehabilitation and will not be involved.
According to L’Équipe, the likely XI to take the field at Stade de la Meinau is: Dominik Greif; Ruben Kluivert, Moussa Niakhaté, Clinton Mata, Ainsley Maitland-Niles; Corentin Tolisso, Tyler Morton, Noah Nartey; Abner, Pavel Sulc, Endrick.
Fonseca will hope the reinstated trio can provide the spark required to secure back-to-back wins and build momentum heading into the season’s decisive stretch.
