Lenovo Unveils Four Boundary-Pushing Concepts at MWC 2026, Headlined by Foldable OLED Gaming Handheld

Barcelona—Lenovo arrived at Mobile World Congress 2026 with a quartet of concept devices designed to stretch the definition of portable computing, and the star of the lineup is a folding OLED gaming handheld that can expand from pocket-size to laptop-class in seconds.

Dubbed the Legion Go Fold Concept, the 7.7-inch unit looks like a conventional handheld with detachable controllers. A quick fold, however, reveals an 11.6-inch OLED canvas that can be rotated 90 degrees and paired with repositioned controllers for widescreen play. Fold the panel upward instead of outward and the device enters “vertical split-screen mode,” dedicating one surface to gameplay and the other to a live stream or walkthrough. Snap the screen onto the bundled wireless keyboard and the Legion Go Fold becomes a clamshell workstation, erasing the line between handheld and laptop gaming.

Lenovo’s second showcase, the Yoga Book Pro 3D Concept, targets digital creators who want glasses-free 3D. An integrated AI engine converts flat assets into depth-rich scenes and can even auto-generate surrounding 3D environments. An Intel Core Ultra 7 processor and Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 GPU supply the necessary horsepower.

For business users, the ThinkBook Modular AI PC Concept offers swappable I/O modules—USB Type-A, Type-C, or HDMI—so the same chassis can serve as a standalone monitor, a full laptop, or a customized connectivity hub. Sitting quietly on a desk, the AI Work Companion Concept masquerades as an alarm clock while using AI to sync calendars, build daily agendas, and prompt screen breaks; a built-in port hub keeps peripherals charged.

All four devices remain in the concept phase, meaning commercial timelines and pricing have not been announced.
