Publisher tinyBuild and developer Casey Donnellan Games have confirmed that the arachnid-blasting sequel Kill It With Fire 2 will scuttle onto Nintendo Switch on May 7, 2026. The announcement, accompanied by a new gameplay trailer, promises the same over-the-top extermination action that defined the original, now expanded across a multiverse of spider-infested worlds.

Players step into the boots of the Exterminator, humanity’s last line of defense against an eight-legged apocalypse. The campaign can be tackled solo or with up to three allies through online cooperative play, while competitive-minded exterminators can jump into Humans vs. Spiders, a frantic four-player PvP mode designed for equal parts laughter and terror.

The arsenal has grown to 45 weapons and gadgets, ranging from the mundane—newspapers and flamethrowers—to the absurd, including miniguns, rocket launchers, and laser swords. Each tool is tuned for maximum pest removal, encouraging experimentation as players cleanse seven distinct universes. Battlegrounds include a shadowy manor, a dusty Wild West town, the neon corridors of cyberspace, and the lava-lit depths of Spider Hell.

Beyond the story, challenge modes push the chaos further: brew explosive potions in a witch’s cauldron, stomp skyscrapers as a kaiju-sized madman, defend a cactus-run saloon from waves of spiders, or outpace rivals in a VR drone race. For those who prefer the other side of the food chain, the eight-player Spider Hunt mode lets participants skitter, ambush, and web-sling as the very arachnids everyone loves to hate.
