The win was fashioned by a mature, match-defining fifty from Heinrich Klaasen and a clinical bowling effort that bundled KKR out for 161 in just 16 overs while chasing 227.

Electing to field first, KKR watched Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma tear into their new-ball pair, rocketing to 82 inside the powerplay. The stand was eventually broken by Blessing Muzarabani, whose four-wicket burst dragged the visitors back into the contest and left SRH wobbling at 140 for 5. Enter Klaasen.
