Fermin Lopez on the rise in list of Barcelona’s most valuable players
Barcelona’s squad valuations have received a fresh update from Transfermarkt, and the headline figure belongs to Fermin Lopez, whose market worth has rocketed to €100 million after a breakout campaign under Hansi Flick. The 21-year-old midfielder has contributed 26 goals in 37 competitive appearances this season, a return that Tobias Blaseio, head of La Liga market values at Transfermarkt, says “speaks for itself.”
Blaseio highlighted Lopez’s relentless pressing, two-way work-rate and defensive diligence as key factors behind the surge. “He is a young player from whom much more can be expected,” the analyst added, signalling confidence that the academy graduate’s trajectory still points sharply upward.
While Lopez’s leap dominates the narrative, other Camp Nou assets also saw notable adjustments. Pedri’s valuation climbed to €150 million, keeping him among the league’s elite, while teenage defensive midfielder Marc Bernal is now pegged at €30 million. Joan Garcia, newly installed as La Liga’s most expensive goalkeeper, sits on €40 million.
The update was not uniformly bullish. Barcelona-linked striker Julian Alvarez saw his price tag trimmed to roughly €90 million, making him one of the biggest fallers in the latest round of assessments.
At the summit of Spain’s valuation table, nothing has changed: Kylian Mbappe and Barcelona winger Lamine Yamal share top billing at €200 million apiece, followed by Vinicius Jr. and Pedri (€150 million) and Jude Bellingham (€140 million).
