FC Barcelona squad named for La Liga match against Mallorca

Barcelona, 7 December — Hansi Flick has finalised a 21-man squad for Saturday’s La Liga meeting with Mallorca at Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys, as the Catalans look to build momentum on home soil.

The German coach will have three goalkeepers at his disposal: Joan García (13), January recruit Wojciech Szczesny (25) and academy graduate Diego Kochen (31). Defensively, Flick can call upon a mix of experience and youth, including João Cancelo, Alejandro Balde, Ronald Araújo, Pau Cubarsí, Gerard Martín, Jules Koundé and Eric García.

Midfield options feature Frenkie de Jong, Dani Olmo and Fermín López, while youngsters Marc Casadó, Marc Bernal and Tommy Marqués provide further depth. In attack, Robert Lewandowski leads the line alongside Ferran Torres, Lamine Yamal, Marcus Rashford and Roony Bardghji.

Raphinha remains sidelined with a minor adductor complaint, while Pedri (hamstring), Gavi and Andreas Christensen (both knee) continue their rehabilitation and have not been included.

Barça’s last training session suggested a possible starting XI of: Joan García; Koundé, Cubarsí, Eric García, Balde; Fermín, De Jong, Olmo; Yamal, Ferran, Rashford.

Kick-off is scheduled for 16:15 CET, with global broadcast times set for 15:15 GMT, 10:15 ET and 07:15 PT, among others.
