Barcelona’s search for a dependable striker has placed Atlético Madrid’s Julián Álvarez on the club’s radar, yet the Catalans insist they will not be lured into a reckless chase. Álvarez’s existing contract with Atlético runs until 2030 and carries a €500 million release clause, a figure that effectively blocks any unilateral approach.
