Angel Reese Traded to Atlanta Dream in Draft-Pick Swap

Chicago, IL — In a move that will reshape the wings of two Eastern Conference franchises, the Chicago Sky have traded forward Angel Reese to the Atlanta Dream in exchange for first-round draft selections in 2027 and 2028, the teams announced Tuesday.

The transaction, conveyed in a brief league release, sends the emerging star out of the Midwest after Reese’s initial tenure with the Sky. Chicago will now hold two future first-round picks, positioning the organization for long-term roster flexibility, while Atlanta adds a proven front-court presence ahead of the upcoming playoff push.
