PSG Inform Manchester City of Interest in Erling Haaland

Paris Saint-Germain have formally approached Manchester City to register their interest in Norway striker Erling Haaland, requesting that the Premier League champions keep them informed should a transfer window open in which the 25-year-old becomes attainable, according to TeamTalk.

Sources indicate that PSG have made multiple inquiries about Haaland’s situation, stressing that their pursuit is independent of the ongoing contract impasse involving winger Ousmane Dembélé. While Dembélé’s representatives have reportedly sounded out Manchester United, Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal over a potential move, PSG’s focus remains fixed on Haaland as a long-term attacking target.

City, who have not placed the former Borussia Dortmund forward on the market, are understood to have acknowledged PSG’s interest without entering negotiations. The French club’s approach is described as exploratory, designed to ensure they are first in line should circumstances change at the Etihad Stadium.

Elsewhere in the market, Eintracht Frankfurt’s 22-year-old left-back Nathaniel Brown continues to attract heavy scouting attention from Manchester City and Barcelona, though the Bundesliga side are demanding a minimum €65 million for the defender, Sport Bild reports.
